Unto the Populace of the Knowne World, the shire of Midland Vale humbly requests your presence at our Tournament of the Daffodils, the fourth, Saturday April twenty-eight in the fifty second year of our Society.

Be it known our Shire seeks to name a new tournament champion in a diverse tournament encompassing the arts and sciences as well as martial activities.
It is our greatest wish that you will attend and compete in our most prestigious tournament.

Tournament Guidelines

Competitions in:

  • Arts and Sciences
  • Thrown Weapon
  • Heavy Weapons

Archery and Thrown will be drop in tournaments with the list fields open from 10 to 4, details to the specific competitions will be posted closer to event.

Fencing and Heavy Weapons will be 90 minute Bear Pit style tournaments.

Entering a competition yields a point. Winning a competition yields points. Bonus points awarded for entering all competitions.

Tournament Champion will be highest point earner!

Show Off Your Arts & Sciences!

There will be a simple populace vote arts and sciences display at Daffodils this year. We hope to see what folk in our shire and the surrounding areas are doing.
Documentation is not required, but will be enjoyed should the artisan choose to provide it.
Items should be on display by 11am and the judging will continue 4:00pm.
Winners will be announced at 5:00pm.

Delicious Victuals!

There is no feast, but a rich dayboard will be provided by Lord Alasdair Campbell

Site Opens: 9:30 am
Site Closes: 7:00 pm

Registration and Fees

  • Pre Registration thru April 21st: Adults $15. With proof of membership, $10.
  • At Gate, Adults $20. With proof of membership, $15.
  • Children 12-17, $5.
  • Children 11 and under free.
