This is the official website for the Shire of Midland Vale, part of the East Kingdom of The Society of Creative Anachronism  which encompasses Orange County and part of Sullivan County in the state of New York. We endeavor to recreate the wonderment of the Middles Ages of the World between the years 600-1600 and are always looking for new members!  As such, we take part in armored combat, fencing, arts and sciences, archery, period cooking, heraldry, bardic activities, and much more.
